Your Remote VCI is not working anymore?

 

1. What to do when the Remote VCI will not connect to the internet

  • Disconnect the Remote VCI from the vehicle and wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in.

  • Perform a short reset by pressing the small hole on the back of the Remote VCI with a needle or paperclip for 5 seconds.

  • Ensure the Remote VCI is connected to the vehicle while performing this reset.

  • After the reset, try the pairing procedure again.

2. What to do when the orange LED light does not turn on

  • Disconnect the Remote VCI from the vehicle, wait 30 seconds, and plug it back in.

  • Perform a hard reset by pressing the small hole on the back of the Remote VCI with a needle or paperclip for 60 seconds.

  • Keep the Remote VCI connected to the vehicle during the reset.

  • The Remote VCI will restart automatically, give it a few moments to fully boot up.

3. Contact support

If the steps above do not solve the issue, or if you experience other problems, contact support.
Support will guide you through additional troubleshooting and determine if the Remote VCI is faulty or if another issue is causing the problem.

Support will check the condition and age of your Remote VCI. Each case is reviewed individually to see if the device is still under warranty. If it is, support will arrange for the Remote VCI to be collected, tested, and repaired or replaced if necessary.
